Ohio will host the $1,500,000 USD event.

We've just found out via Twitter that this year's Call of Duty World League (CWL) Championship will take place in Columbus, Ohio's Nationwide Arena from August 15 to 19, and that tickets are available right now on the MLG website.

The tournament will feature 32 teams competing for the $1,500,000 USD prize pool, although the first two days will be closed group stage matches, before the action shifts to the Nationwide Arena for fans to watch the action as the teams get whittled down. Considering there have been a lot of champions already this season - including Luminosity Gaming, Team Kaliber, and Rise Nation - who knows who can take home the title.

A short trailer for the event can be watched on Twitter. Who do you want to see win this event?
