Sentinels reveal signing of xQc

The controversial Canadian player will be streaming and will also serve the Gladiators Legion in Overwatch Contenders.

Overwatch team The Sentinels have revealed that they've signed controversial player Félix 'xQc' Lengyel to the team, who will also be the substitute for the Gladiators Legion in the Contenders competition.

The Canadian player is controversial due to his many bans in the game, which meant he was dropped by Dallas Fuel in Season One, but he's a successful streamer on Twitch and has been continuing to stream despite being without a team.

Streaming will still be a big part of xQc's life while competing for the Legion, including a variety of games and a weekly stream with Sentinels and Gladiators players in Overwatch, Fortnite, and more.

"We are looking forward to having xQc play for the Gladiators Legion. Since Panker has a two-way contract with the Overwatch League, signing xQc provides backup for the Legion when Panker is not available," says Charlie Lipsie, Director of Esports.

Are you pleased to see xQc back with a team?
