League of Legends developer Riot Games has announced that Shell has joined as a partner for the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), representing Shell's first step into esports.

During weekly LEC broadcasts Baron Power Play will partner with Shell V-Power, and there will be opportunities to win XP boosts on the German language Twitch channel too. Fans in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria can also expect to see Shell on the 2019 Dach Premier tour, with each attendee getting a free skin code.

ClubSmart loyalty card holders in Germany will get seven-day XP bonuses as well, if fans present their card at the LEC studios or a Dach Premier event. Hextech chests and keys, champions, skins, and more will be available as rewards for ClubSmart holders too.

The LEC starts tomorrow, so will you be watching?
