Overwatch League finals reportedly heading to Philadelphia

After Brooklyn's Barclays Center hosted the action last year, a new report indicates Philadelphia is hosting it this year.

Last year the debut season of the Overwatch League had its finals at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, but now a new reported from ESPN claims to have insider knowledge pointing to Philadelphia hosting this year's finals, according to alleged league sources.

The finals plans were apparently revealed internally to owners a few weeks ago, and the report adds that the event is coming to the Wells Fargo Center, owned by the same company as last year's finalists, Philadelphia Fusion, who are also getting their own Fusion Arena in the city.

One source offered some speculation about why this was chosen, including reduced costs because of the owner, as well as easier logistics of hosting it in the US again. Another source also apparently added the launching home games in 2020 is taking up most of the focus in Activision Blizzard right now.

As for right now, we know the All-Star rosters for the All-Star event this month, so that's something to look forward to alongside the start of Stage 2.

Is this a good choice of location, if true?
