Chaos Esports Club's Dota squad leaving South America

Two players have also been dropped as part of the big shift in focus for the Dota 2 team following the MDL Paris Major.

Chaos Esports Club has released a statement revealing big changes to their Dota 2 side, as not only are Otavio 'Tavo' Gabriel and Danylo 'Kingrd' Nascimento leaving the squad, but the team is also leaving South America.

The announcement also tells us that the roster decision was made due to disappointing results during the MDL Paris Major tournament, meaning "the team was at an impasse in terms of results and a change was required."

As for the move out of South America, and Brazil more specifically, this was made because of the difficult logistics of operating in the country. In the same post the organisation shows appreciation for South American fans, and general manager Jared 'Pandaeg0' Fletcher talks more about the announcements on Twitter.

Are you sad to see them leave Brazil?
