Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng, 26, has been with Team Liquid since the start of 2018. He was an integral part of the team that won four consecutive domestic titles but after a tough year, Team Liquid currently sit 9th in the LCS Spring 2020 rankings and Doublelift is reportedly getting ready to return to TSM, as reported by ESPN.
The California-born Doublelift reportedly had offers from several teams but opted for a return to TSM because of his personal connections with them. TSM currently sit 5th in the LCS rankings, three points behind Evil Geniuses in 2nd and a whole 24 behind runaway leaders Cloud9.
Fans are still waiting for confirmation of the move, but Doublelift's presence could be the decisive factor in TSM becoming serious LCS contenders.
