The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has revealed that its first international esports tournament, the FIBA Esports Open, will be held June 19 - 20.
The virtual competition will see 17 national teams go head-to-head using NBA 2K's Pro-AM mode. Competing teams include Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cyprus, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine.
