The Spring Season for the League of Legends European Championship has now concluded, and it has seen MAD Lions take home the tournament, following defeating Rogue 3-2 in the finals event yesterday.

This victory has not only seen the Lions win $80,000 in prize money, but it has also seen them earn a further 90 Championship Points, giving the team a lead in qualifying for the Summer Playoffs and potentially Worlds later this year. The Lions victory has also netted them qualification to the 2021 Mid Season Invitational, which is set to begin in early May and will bring the best teams from around the globe to compete at a LAN-event in Iceland.

Aside from these other tournaments, the next challenge for the MAD Lions will be building on this success and starting strong in the Summer Season, which will begin later this year - Riot has yet to reveal details on its dates and format.
