NRG rounds out its Valorant roster with the signing of Wedid

The team finally has 5 members again.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 29 juni 2021

NRG Esports has finished re-building its Valorant line-up, as it has now officially added Matthew "Wedid" Suchan to the team as its fifth and final active player.

Previously known for playing on XSET, Wedid is no stranger to the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) tournament, so we'll have to see whether he can help the North American organisation achieve some success in the VCT, something it has yet to find.

The next section of the Valorant Champions Tour will see teams competing in the Challengers Open Qualifier, in the hopes of claiming a spot in Challengers circuit, which is the next stage towards the end goal of the next Masters event that will take place in Berlin in August.

The next North American qualifier will be starting as soon as July 1, so we'll have to keep an eye out to see if this new iteration of NRG competes, and if so, how the revamped roster performs.
