Blizzard has finally revealed its plans for the post season of the 2021 Overwatch League season. Following the conclusion of the Countdown Cup, which will begin its qualifiers on July 30, teams can look forward to Playoffs between September 16-19. This will be hosted at the Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas, and will include the top three teams from the West division and the top two from the East, as well as three other teams, decided by a play-in tournament that is planned for September 4-5.

As for the Grand Finals, that will take place the week after Playoffs, and is set for September 25 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles. This event will see the top two teams, decided by the Playoffs, face off for a $1.5 million cash prize, with the runner-up getting a healthy $700,000.

Blizzard has also revealed how the rest of the prize pool will be distributed, as well as a few more of the finer details for the event, which you can find here.
