The London-based esports organisation Excel Esports has announced that it has hired four new executives to fuel growth in the team. Detailed in a press release sent out on Monday, the four new staff members will all be joining the commercial and partnerships division of the organisation, as it looks for more funding to further expand its reach into more esports titles.

The four new members are:

  • Elle Garner, joining as a commercial analyst.
  • Mark Carter, as the commercial director.
  • Jordan Beford, as the partnerships manager.
  • Owen Betterridge, joining as a partnerships executive.

Excel has revealed in the press release that the hires come as the team is looking to use a £17 million round of funding to expand its reach across the esports scene.
