Philadelphia Fusion and Washington Justice have been knocked out of the Overwatch League Playoffs

Dallas Fuel and Shanghai Dragons are making a run through the upper bracket.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 23 september 2021

Now that the second day of the Overwatch League Playoffs is over, we know the first couple of teams that have been eliminated from contention and are heading home. Those very teams are the Philadelphia Fusion and the Washington Justice, who were defeated by the San Francisco Shock and the Atlanta Reign, respectively.

This leaves six teams fighting for the title of Overwatch League Champion, with two of those teams set to go home by the end of day three. Who those teams will be will depend on the next knockout matches, and will see either the Shock, the Reign, the Chengdu Hunters, or the Los Angeles Gladiators' season ending.

The only teams that are currently safe from knockout are the Dallas Fuel and the Shanghai Dragons, who are both currently undefeated, but slated to play very soon to grab the first grand finals slot. The loser will fall into the lower bracket and will be fighting to not be eliminated from the tournament.

Take a look at the full bracket for match-ups and match times here.
