The ESL has signed a partnership deal with Immutable X to bring NFTs (non-fungible tokens) to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and ESL Pro Tour fans. The deal will see fans able to buy, sell, and trade NFT assets within the Pro Tour, in a "secure, carbon neutral, and gas-free way."

The blog post announcing the deal stated, "ESL introduced its first non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for IEM Cologne 2021 and has since endeavored to find a partnership that ensures esports and Counter-Strike fans can have access to NFTs in a secure, carbon neutral, and gas-free way.

The ESL NFT platform, in partnership with Immutable X, will enable esports and Counter-Strike enthusiasts around the world to be able to buy, sell, and exchange NFT assets within the ESL Pro Tour."

NFTs first came to the ESL Pro Tour at IEM Cologne 2021in July as part of a new POG collection (which you can take a look at here). This deal will expand on that and see that viewers can continue to build out their NFT collection.
