Jarno Opmeer jumps back into the lead in the F1 Esports Pro Series

The Mercedes driver took the top spot in the ninth round of the season.

We're almost at the end of another season of the F1 Esports Pro Series, in fact we're 75% through the season. At this time of year, the frontrunners for who will be crowned champion start to present themselves, and following Round 9 at the Circuit of the Americas, the title race seems to be a three-horse race.

The latest race, which took place last night saw Mercedes driver Jarno Opmeer take the victory, catapulting Opmeer to the top of the standings ahead of previous leader and Round 7 victor, Aston Martin's Lucas Blakeley. The event also saw Red Bull's Frede Rasmussen take home a third-consecutive second place finish, putting him third in the overall standings, only eight points behind leader Opmeer.

With only three rounds left in the season, set to take place between December 15-16, the Driver's Championship is pretty much between Opmeer (140 points), Blakeley (135 points), and Rasmussen (132 points). As for the Constructors Championship, Mercedes is starting to edge out a lead over Red Bull, with 23 points separating the leading two organisations.
