Astralis commercial director: "The whole idea behind our cooperation is bringing the gaming community even closer together".

The Danish esports organisation, Astralis has announced that it has extended its partnership with the Nordic matchmaking platform Esportal. With the pair only starting to work together nine months ago, the extension will see new monthly and quarterly events being hosted at Astralis Nexus, the esports team's gaming and entertainment centre in Copenhagen, and will also see the pair working together on a variety of other activations.

While there's no mention as to how long the extension will be for, Astralis commercial director, Kasper Sindt has said, "We have built a tournament and matchmaking format combining Esportal's expertise and the Astralis brand and value, and we're thrilled with the way it has been received and used by thousands of Counter-Strike players daily," before continuing further with, "The whole idea behind our cooperation is bringing the gaming community even closer together, both digitally and physically."

In the announcement post, it is mentioned that the pair will be working on a commercial and promotional leg, on top of the planned digital and physical activations. And as for the commercial value of the extension, neither of the two organisations has revealed that information.
