Counter-Logic Gaming sign Overwatch team

In preparation for the Overwatch League.
Sammy Cooper 20 december 2016

Overwatch is well on its way to become a powerhouse esport, and now another major team is investing into it. Counter-Logic Gaming, a huge team with ties in League of Legends, Counter Strike, and more, have decided to put together their very own Overwatch team.

The announcement was initially made at the MLG Vegas invitational and then later on CLG's own website. The team consists of a group formed back in August, known as The 1 Percent. Those on the team are Joao Pedro "Hydration" Goes Telles, Adam "waffletastic" Syndor, Bryan "iShiny" McCarthy, Nathan "Miso" Lui, Michael "The" Kuhns, and Daniel "Mikado" Yamikoski.

CLG have never failed to make waves upon entering esports scenes, no matter the game they join into, so we have confidence that they've picked up a strong team. Blizzard's Overwatch League will begin next year, and with any luck the new CLG Overwatch roster will be one of the top contenders for the title. Do you think this squad has what it takes to be great?
