Fnatic win the WESG CS:GO finals

Space Soldiers put up a tough fight against the IEM Katowice champs.
Sam Bishop 19 maart 2018

Esports organisation Fnatic has had a great time in the world of CS:GO recently, as they've not only recently claimed victory at the tournament at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice, but now they've added to their trophy cabinet with a first place finish at the finals of the World Electronic Sports Games competition, otherwise known as WESG.

The tournament took place in China and saw Fnatic take on Space Soldiers in the grand finals, and despite a strong 16-12 victory in the first map, their opponents pushed the second to a tense 19-16 win in overtime, pushing Fnatic to clinch a 16-14 final map win on Mirage, keeping the crowd entertained.

After the final Fnatic player Maikil 'Golden' Selim also took to Twitter to dismiss reports that he was being replaced on the team, simply writing: "I stay."

Do you think Fnatic are one of the teams to watch right now?
