Lenovo and Ubisoft reveal Rainbow Six Pro League partnership

The former's PCs and monitors will be used in the competition.
Sam Bishop 18 mei 2018

Ubisoft and tech company Lenovo have revealed a new global partnership which makes Lenovo Legion PCs and monitors the official sponsor of the Rainbow Six: Siege Pro League and Majors, which will extend for the duration of the season, through from spring this year to spring 2019 across North America, EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, and Africa), APAC (Asia Pacific), and Latin America.

As a result of this pairing, Lenovo will provide hardware - including obviously PCs and Monitors - for Siege players in the competition, and what's more is that this also comes with co-branding and co-promotion, as well as global competitions and an in-game Lenovo Legion charm, unlocked via an in-game challenge in the shooter.

"Forming partnerships is an important part of Lenovo's gaming strategy. With Ubisoft, we share a deep commitment in supporting the professional esports community and gaming fanbase," said Jeff Meredith, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Lenovo's Consumer PCs and Smart Devices. "Combining Lenovo's consumer technology expertise with Ubisoft's competitive and immersive content was a natural fit to offer gaming enthusiasts a best-in-class gaming and viewing experience."

You can see these Lenovo Legion PCs and monitors during this weekend's Pro League Season 7 finals, taking place in Atlantic City, where we'll also find out about the next major update: Operation Para Bellum.
