Natacha Jones has extensive experience in esports already.
Sam Bishop 5 juni 2018

Esports producer Natacha Jones has joined the British Esports Association, as announced by the organisation recently, and she'll be coming on board as student esports coordinator to help developer the British Esports Championships for schools and colleges, working alongside the lead for school projects Tom Dore.

This Championships project was recently piloted, and the results from this will be taken on board to start the first season in September, aligning with the 2018/19 academic year. What's more is that we can also expect a full feedback report for the pilot over the next few weeks too.

Jones' experience includes being project manager for King of the North gaming festival, as well as a freelance esports observer too, not to mention looking after player management at the ESL stage at EGX 2017 and being Twitch Student Program Manager at the student esports body NUEL.

British Esports chair Andy Payne said: "Natacha is a fantastic hire with a strong background in UK esports. We're looking forward to growing the British Esports Championships with her and we're delighted to have her on board."

Natacha Jones added: "My roles over the last few years have been focused on university esports, so I'm excited to expand my horizons to include colleges and schools. I want to make sure that future esports talent will get a head-start through the British Esports Championships, which will give them the skills and experience to succeed in the industry."
