The Overwatch League has already revealed expansions in the form of Atlanta and Guanzhou, and now ESPN reports that Washington DC and Hangzhou in China are set to get places in the league as well.
This news comes from alleged league sources, and the report also says the league will expand to 20 teams rather than the previously-stated 18, which is the number that we're currently sitting at with the recent expansions.
According to these sources the Washington DC team is funded by a group headed by Mark Ein as well as his Capitol Investment Corp. and other investors, Hangzhou will get funding from Bilibili.
