The esports organisation Andbox has announced that it has rebranded to NYXL. This comes with the fact that NYXL's Overwatch League team is also known as NYXL (New York Excelsior), and its Call of Duty League team being regarded as the NYSL (New York Subliners).

As part of the rebrand, Andbox has also added that it will be aiming to make New York City into the esports gaming capital of the world, and intends to help see that through with a "high-seven figure" investment into New York's gaming community over the next year.

On top of this, NYXL intends to build a headquarters (the XLHQ) in Manhattan in New York, with the facility featuring practice rooms and a central hub that will be able to host live events and community events.

According to the press release, it's also mentioned that NYXL will be hosting a Young Creator Project going forth, where it intends to scout and spotlight the next era of New York-based content creators.
