ALGS recently showcased its updated ruleset, which removes a requirement that an organisation is only allowed to have one team. This was controversial initially, and led to a lot of teams backing out of ALGS this past year.
With the changing of this rule, we are likely to see a ripple effect in the pro Apex Legends community. Larger organisations will now be able to recruit multiple teams, which will hopefully see a boost in participation in other regions outside of NA.
Strangely, there was no official announcement on this rule change, despite it being quite a big one. We're not sure why it has been a silent change, but either way organisations will now be able to field multiple teams in ALGS.
