The Danish esports organisation Astralis has announced that it will be parting ways with its League of Legends mid-laner Carl Felix "MagiFelix" Boström. The team revealed the decision in a blog post, where it was revealed that the team will simply not be extending MagiFelix, and will now be in the market for a new mid-laner.

"MagiFelix has been an important part of the first-ever Astralis season in League of Legends and our new set-up," said Astralis. "We thank him for his contribution, professionalism, and dedication to the game and Astralis. On the server, in the office, and as a part of the Astralis Family."

"We wish MagiFelix the best of luck in his future endeavors," the post continued.

As for who will fill MagiFelix's role, Astralis has mentioned that it will announce details on its 2022 team "once everything is in place."
