Babybay announces his retirement from Overwatch

The 25-year-old has now turned his attention to Valorant after a successful three-year run.

As Valorant is starting to tighten its stranglehold on the world, we're starting to see more and more pro players from competitive CS:GO and Overwatch make the switch. Atlanta Reign's Andrej "Babybay" Francisty announced late last week that he would be joining this group of players, as he has now retired from Overwatch to shift his focus to Valorant.

The 25-year-old reportedly managed to amass over $80,000 in tournament earnings over his three-year career in competitive Overwatch. Prior to his retirement, he played for teams, such as San Francisco Shock, Ghost Gaming, and, of course, Atlanta Reign.

We wish Babybay the best in the next stage of his career!
