We've had a few more details about the event pour in recently.

A few weeks ago, we reported that BLAST, known for hosting several Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments, will in fact be hosting an Apex Legends event called BLAST Titans. Set to begin as soon as July 23, BLAST has taken a minute to reveal a few more details about the format of the event, including that the second week of competition will in fact be played in the new 3v3 game mode Arenas.

That's right, between July 31 and August 8, BLAST Titans will see the top 20 teams from the first week of competition heading into Arenas, "exclusively". The event will feature each of the available Arenas maps, and will see teams face each other in a best-of-three, and then as the week progresses, a best-of-five set of matches.

It has also been noted that the first week of play will be regular battle royale, and that the primary map will be Worlds Edge, with Olympus being the secondary.

What do you think of Arenas playing a crucial part of this tournament?
