Boston Uprising has signed MCD

The North American Overwatch League team has picked up another Support player.

The Boston Uprising Overwatch League team has added yet another member to its active roster, as it works on rebuilding for the 2022 season, which will be played on Overwatch 2. Following the addition of Min-seo "Marve1" Hwang and Nam-joo "Striker" Kwon back in late October, the Uprising has also brought on Jeong-ho "MCD" Lee.

MCD will be coming to the Uprising following a tenure on the Hangzhou Spark, a team which he left back in August. Considering the Spark had a pretty disappointing season, finishing 13th in the overall standings, it will be interesting to see whether MCD can make an impact in the league, on a team that has been largely overhauled following a poor season as well (15th overall standing finish).

As part of the signing of MCD, Uprising's president, Chris "HuK" Loranger said, "MCD is a talented player who has made mistakes. We have had numerous conversations with him, and based on those conversations MCD understands that this is his final opportunity of his gaming career. We are hopeful that he will make the most out of this chance."
