Cloud9 has announced that they have signed two new players to their CS:GO team, these being former OpTic Gaming players William 'Rush' Wierzba and Tarik 'tarik' Celik, who are replacing Jordan 'n0thing' Gilbert and Michael 'shroud' Grzesiek.

Jake 'Stewie2k' Yip took to Twitter to bid farewell to shroud and n0thing, saying: "It's painful to put personal relationships aside from business and hoping that these decisions will make my career brighter. These two people changed my life and I love them for that. I hope to compete with you guys someway or another, one day."

"It's a huge day for me as I say farewell to my long-time team OpTic, and start my new adventure on C9. I really believe this will be a world-contending roster and I hope you, the fans, believe this as well!," Rush said as part of Cloud9's announcement.

"I'm super excited to be apart of the Cloud9 organisation," tarik added. "I know that I have always been on the other side but I hope that the fans will welcome me in open arms. Summer is just getting started!"

How well can these two do with Cloud9?
