Team Liquid originally benched Adam "ec1s" Eccles from a competitive Valorant roster back in February, but the British player has remained on the roster since then. However, Liquid has now announced that ec1s has officially left Liquid.
The roster change was first announced in a Twitter post that featured the accompanying statement from ec1s, "My time under Team Liquid has been amazing, I am truly thankful to have been able to represent an organisation of this calibre where everyday I was proud to be a part of it all. I am sad to be leaving however I am also excited for the future as a Free Agent looking to get back into competitive Valorant. I wish the team all the best at Iceland and truly do hope they succeed."
There has been no word as to where ec1s will end up, but hopefully he'll find a team sooner than later.
