There will be two leagues launching.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 21 april 2022

Konami has revealed that this June will mark the launch dates for its eFootball 2022 esports scenes. Set to include two unique leagues, the eFootball Championship Pro 2022 and the eFootball Championship Open 2022, the two leagues will use the Dream Team mode as the chosen game mode.

The eFootball Championship Pro 2022 league will see players contracted with actual professional clubs competing in 1v1 matches to win the league. All games for this will be streamed around the world.

As for the eFootball Championship Open 2022, this will be the largest esports tournament using the game, and will allow any player the opportunity to compete via partaking in a relevant in-game challenge. Only the World Finals for this will be streamed.

Konami has stated that the participating clubs and the schedules for both events will be released at a later date.
