The ESL has announced a new partnership with cryptocurrency platform Coinbase, in a deal that will see Coinbase join as the official crypto exchange partner of the ESL Pro Tour for StarCraft II, leading up to the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2022 event.

The partnership is looking to "educate our fans on the next generation of exchanges while working together for the benefit of StarCraft community members and competitors", as the announcement post reads.

There has been no mention as to the financials or the duration of the partnership, but the end of the post does state, "we have something for players of all levels so come and join us whatever your situation is, and enjoy the season with us and Coinbase", which does suggest that the deal will only run up until the end of this season.
