ESL has announced that it is hosting a Dota 2 Major in Malaysia as soon as this August. Set to be held at the Arena of Stars at Resorts World Genting, the event is planned for between August 23-28, and will see 12 teams attending and fighting over a share of a $400,000 prize pool.
ESL has noted that there will be a live audience for the event but that this will only be for the final three days of competition, as the Group Stage will take place behind closed doors. As for who will be attending, ESL has yet to reveal that information.
