The ESL Premiership, the UK and Ireland's longest standing competitive series will host a one-off League of Legends: Wild Rift tournament, marking the organisation's first dip into the mobile esports scene. The event that will be called the ESL Wild Rift Premiership will even see teams from Nordic regions able to compete, marking another first in the ESL Premiership's history book.

The tournament is slated to feature a £5,000 prize pool and will run from Saturday, April 3 to Sunday, June 20. The event will also feature an open-qualifier, an eight-team round robin group stage, a playoffs series, before culminating in an online, remote finals held over Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20.

Broadcast for the event is also planned to begin as soon as Tuesday, April 20, and can be watched over here when the tournament does begin.
