The esports organisation Evil Geniuses has announced a new partnership with the Premier League football team Wolverhampton Wanderers. The deal has seen Fosun Sports Group (the organisation that owns the football club) make a minor investment into Evil Geniuses, which has now seen the team valued at $255 million. This deal has also made Evil Geniuses the first esports team in the world to have a physical presence in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

"We are thrilled to partner with Wolves, a storied football club and strong sports and entertainment brand that aligns with our values and mission," said Nicole LaPointe Jameson, Evil Geniuses' chief executive officer. "This deal will help power Evil Geniuses' expansion into the Asian markets while also providing new capital to sign more world-class players and grow into new esports titles."

The deal will see Evil Geniuses and Wolves working together to create a variety of English and Chinese language content, sponsorship opportunities and branded merchandise, and will even see Wolves' logo featured on Evil Geniuses jerseys towards the beginning of the partnership.
