G2 Esports are a big player in the EU League of Legends scene, and they have solidified that status even more by securing another EU LCS title in Paris, beating Misfits in the final to achieve this feat, also marking their fourth consecutive victory in the competition.
G2's performance in the final was just as strong as it was elsewhere, as they won 3-0 against Misfits, with the first and second games particularly showcasing how dominant G2 were. Misfits pulled back a little bit of hope in the third, but it wasn't enough to stop G2.
Both teams will be going to the Worlds, but Splyce, H2K Gaming, Unicorns of Love, and Fnatic will all still gave to play for the last spot in the competition on September 8. Who will be joining G2 and Misfits?
