Golden Guardians' Hai retires from playing League of Legends

He's also left the North American team.

League of Legends player Hai 'Hai' Du Lam has recently announced via an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit that he is no longer a part of his former team Golden Guardians - who played in the North American League of Legends Championship Series - and that he's now looking at where to go in the future.

"I'm no longer a part of the Golden Guardians and now I'm looking towards my step in my career," he wrote. "I'm currently interested in pursuing a streaming/content creation/brand ambassador life style at the moment as I have the ability to risk a year or two to attempt to be successful at them. I realize this is hard but I'll be doing my best to stream 40~ hours a week for the time being and focusing on doing games with 5 people to showcase shotcalling and help others with that."

He also continues by saying that he may well have an interesting in coaching or analysis, but only "if there are options that seem appealing to me." For now though it seems that this is the last time we'll see Hai as a professional player.

What do you think the future holds for Hai?
