Over the last few years more projects and competitions have emerged to try and showcase up-and-coming talent in esports, and now ImbaTV has revealed a new developmental league to highlight the best Chinese talent in Dota 2, revealing a whole load of partners like LGD Gaming to help with this.
"Eight clubs - LGD, VG, KG, Aster, EHOME, RNG, iG, and Newbee - are committed to unite to cultivate the new generation of forces, and reached a consensus with ImbaTV to jointly organize the "China DOTA2 Development League"! And we will implement the concept of "Hero Cup" and improve it based on the experience of successful past events."
