It's become quite the regular affair to see esports organisations and cryptocurrency exchanges partner up, and today's news is no exception. Immortals has signed a three-year partnership deal with Bitstamp, a deal that will see the crypto platform named the esports team's official cryptocurrency exchange, and a founding partner.
"It's a priority for us as an organization to show up for our community and bring them value through innovative partnerships like this one with Bitstamp, the longest-running crypto exchange in the world," said Jordan Sherman, Immortals' CEO. "This partnership will further enhance the Immortals fan experience with real, tangible benefits that connect the crypto and gaming worlds."
In the press release, we're told that the deal will include a variety of initiatives and collaborations including social media content, video content, giveaways, and various other in-person activations.
There's no mention of the financials behind the deal, but we are told to also expect future crypto integrations and NFT activations down the line.
