Infinite Warfare tournament to be held at Insomnia59

This will be one of the first competitive tournaments for the game.
Sam Bishop 6 november 2016

Insomnia59 will take place at the NEC in Birmingham between December 9 and 11, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will feature as one of the tournament games, despite only being out for just over a month by then.

A post on the Insomnia site reads: "Following the success of Call of Duty at Insomnia58, it made perfect sense for us to bring the series back for another event and the perfect place to stage one of the first competitive tournaments for the latest title in the franchise, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

"We're extremely excited to bring competitive Call of Duty back to Insomnia and we think you will be too, giving you a perfect chance to put the new game through its paces in our dedicated Call of Duty area in the esports hall at the event."

The prize pool for the tournament will be £3,000, with solo tickets at £65 and team tickets at £255. Alternatively, if you'd like to go and spectate, tickets are now on sale and start at £21. Do you think Infinite Warfare will be a successful game for esports?
