One sport that has truly embraced the world of esports since the coronavirus pandemic put competitions around the world on hold is Formula One, and this weekend marked the third Virtual Grand Prix, played online via F1 2019.

These digital races include a mixture of F1 racers, retired drivers, plus athletes from other sports (for example, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibault Courtois competed in this one, finishing in 15th), and this weekend's event, which took place on the digital version of the Shanghai International Circuit, saw F1 star Charles Leclerc once again finish first, this time ahead of Red Bull's Alex Albon.

"I'm actually enjoying very much playing, and streaming. And I enjoy it even more when I win," Leclerc wrote after registered back-to-back wins in his digital Ferrari. "But the post race celebrations are somehow feeling a bit different. Switching off the computer and go cook white pasta is a bit less glamour than spraying champagne on the podium."

Here's the top ten from Sunday's race, which you can watch in full here:

1. Charles Leclerc - Ferrari
2. Alex Albon - Aston Martin Red Bull Racing
3. Guanyu Zhou - Renault
4. George Russell - Williams
5. Stoffel Vandoorne - Mercedes
6. Esteban Gutierrez - Mercedes
7. Louis Deletraz - Haas
8. Liam Lawson - Alpha Tauri
9. Nicholas Latifi - Williams
10. Carlos Sainz - McLaren
