The Los Angeles Gladiators has taken home the Overwatch SteelSeries Invitational. The Los Angeles-based team defeated several other Overwatch League calibre teams, before defeating the Boston Uprising 3-0 in the finals, to take home the informal tournament victory.
Even though the Gladiators did look to be the strongest roster on offer at the event, the tournament did lack several of the very best Overwatch League teams from the APAC region, meaning we still have no clue how the Gladiators will stack up against them.
While this is not an official tournament, it does serve as a solid look as to what we can expect when the Overwatch League kicks off on April 16.
