Los Angeles Gladiators signs Patiphan

He joins the Gladiators after previously retiring from competitive Overwatch to pursue Valorant.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 16 december 2021

The Los Angeles Gladiators has announced the next member to be joining its roster. The Thai DPS player, Patiphan "Patiphan" Chaiwong will be joining the team, after previously retiring from competitive Overwatch to instead pursue a career in competitive Valorant over the past 12 months.

However, Patiphan is now back in the Overwatch scene, and will be competing with the Gladiators in the 2022 season, where he will star alongside Kevin "kevster" Persson and Seonchang "ANS" Lee as the team's damage core.

The Gladiators now have quite the formidable and versatile roster, so this may be the final announcement the team makes ahead of the League returning in April. Still, as the organisation boasts eight players currently, and can employ up to a max of 12, there is a chance we'll see further announcements before the 2022 season kicks off.
