LPL comes out on top at the LoL All-Stars event

They faced Taiwan's LMS in the grand final.
Sam Bishop 12 december 2017

The League of Legends All-Star event recently took place, rounding up the best players and assembling them into teams based on regional leagues, and after all was said and done it was the Chinese LPL team who came out on top after beating Taiwan's LMS team in the grand final.

While EU and NA teams were eliminated at the group stage, Asian teams progressed much further and proved their dominance once again, culminating in an intense six-hour final. The LPL on one side were rather patient and calculating, while the LMS were much more aggressive.

This wasn't one of the most important events of the year, as this is more of a chance for players to act more casual in a tournament that has lower stakes, but still, the final was a thrilling battle nonetheless. Are you surprised LPL won?
