Both of which will strengthen the squad moving into the summer season.

Gen.G Esports - the recently rebranded name for KSV Esports - has today announced that it has recruited Moon 'Mong' Chang-Min and Song 'Fly' Yong-jun to their League of Legends team, which the organisation claims will "strengthen the already stacked roster ahead of the upcoming 2018 LoL Champions Korea summer season and the 2018 LoL World Championship," according to the press release.

Mong has played for BPZ in the 2017 Challenge Korea Spring competition, being part of the squad that reached third place, while Fly was a player for KT Rolster and has also played in China and North America.

"I am pleased to welcome these talented players to the Gen.G roster. We have been in close discussions with our experienced coaches to recruit two players," said Gen.G's General Manager Lee Ji-hoon. "We wanted players with long-term potential who can learn from the veteran players of Gen.G, who have championship records. We also wanted players who have a flexible play style, and who have the skill to help the team achieve top scores in the Summer Split. We think we have found those abilities in Moon and Fly, so we are happy they have joined the team."
