Featuring ex Grubie and Avangar talent.
Sam Bishop 11 april 2018

Esports organisation Natus Vincere (or NaVi) has announced that they have signed the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds roster formerly known as Grubie, featuring Vadim 'Pokamolody' Ulshin; Ivan 'ubah' Kapustin; Dmitrii 'Shade1' Roshchin; and Sviatoslav 'Drainys' Komissarov.

Grubie caught attention when they were runners-up in the PGL PUBG Invitational and earned a spot at Season 1 of the Global Loot League, happening later this month, and Drainys also has experienced with Avangar, winning the tournament that took place at IEM Katowice 2018.

Valeriia 'Lera_X' Khegai will be manager of this team, and used to create World of Tanks tutorials. ""The competitive PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is still at the early stage of development, but I believe in the immense potential of this title," he said.

Yevhen Zolotarov, Natus Vincere CEO, added: "We've been looking closely at PUBG for a quite a long time since that is a very successful game in commercial terms, but we were not sure as to its competitive potential. When we saw some big organizations entering the scene, and a serious tournament ecosystem with such industry leaders as PGL and ESL developed - our doubts vanished."

"As for the lineup, everything was clear. Everyone who I talked to about PUBG, including the managers of organizations which have already acquired such rosters, recommended signing Grubie. Plus, we've heard the same recommendations from our scout and the manager hired to work with the team."

Has NaVi caught themselves a good team?
