Pittsburgh Knights announce sponsorship deal with HyperX

After making big moves with the Steelers partnership last year, another big name joins forces with the Knights.

Pittsburgh-based esports organisation Pittsburgh Knights has recently announced a sponsorship deal with gaming equipment giant HyperX in a press release on the organisation's site. This will not be the first huge partnership the Knights have been involved in though, as in December 2018 NFL team Pittsburgh Steelers announced they would be partnering with the esports organisation.

When commenting on the sponsorship, Knights President James O'Conner said: "When you're playing CounterStrike for example, being able to pick up on every little sound and clue from your opponent is so important. Having a great headset is a real advantage".

Rob Lee, Knights CEO, also spoke about the sponsorship. "I've been around the block in esports and HyperX has been the most desirable endemic company to work with, it's an absolute pleasure to have our brand alongside HyperX," he added.

HyperX will provide the Knights with world-class headsets, keyboards, mice, mouse-pads, and internal memory products, similar to the technology they provide to the streamers and content creators they are sponsoring such as the Steelers' own JuJu Smith-Schuster.
