PlayVS launching high school competitions in five states

League of Legends is the game being played.
Sam Bishop 14 september 2018

Startup company PlayVS has today announced (via Tech Crunch) that their early-access season of high school esports is coming to Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and what's more is that they're also partnering with League of Legends for the competition.

We'll see the action begin next month, and students in these five US states can sign up to play for their school in what's called 'Season Zero'. PlayVS not only grants access to recruiters but also allows high school students to play esports, dividing them into conferences and then holding state championships.

The first official season will start in February after this, but do you think Season Zero will go well?
