Post Malone is Envy Gaming's latest investor

The 25-year-old superstar is now a co-owner of the esports organisation.

This was a collaboration that we were not expecting to hear about! It turns out that Post Malone has now become co-owner of Envy Gaming - an esports organisation which owns Team Envy, Dallas Fuel, and Dallas Empire.

The American rapper has chosen the perfect time to invest as Dallas Empire has proven itself to be a force to be reckoned with in the Call of Duty world. The team won the inaugural Call of Duty League this weekend and scooped up $1.5 million in earnings.

We reported recently too how NBA star Ben Simmons had joined FaZe Clan. There certainly seems to be a buzz around celebrities being affiliated with esports teams, and we imagine that these kinds of deals will do wonders for exposure within the industry.

Which celebrity do you think will be next to invest in esports?

Thanks, The Gamer.
