It'll be split over the four participating regions.

Krafton has revealed the plans for the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Continental Series 5. The event that will span across four regions, (Europe, the Americas, APAC, and Asia), will feature a $1 million prize pool, split between the four regions.

Each region is set to receive $230,000 worth of cash prizes to split between the top eight teams over the three weeks of competition. There will also be other cash rewards going to the teams and players that are recognised as the kill leaders or perform best over the competition.

As this is a Continental Series event, the Pick'em Challenge will be making a comeback for players to select the teams they think will perform best to earn some in-game items to flaunt.

As for when the PCS5 will begin, for Europe and Asia, the first set of matches will take place between September 18-19, with the next rounds of games taking place each following week. The Americas and the Asia-Pacific region will start shortly before on September 16-17.

You can read more about how the competition will take place and how the prize pool will be split here.
