Red Dead Redemption 2 voert GDC Awards-nominaties aan

De nominaties zijn bekend voor de Game Developers Choice Awards en Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 is de grote favoriet met zeven nominaties. De Western-game wordt op de voet gevolgd door God of War en Spider-Man, beide goed voor zes nominaties. De drie games zijn ook genomineerd voor de felbegeerde Game of the Year Award, waarin ook Celeste en Return of the Obra Dinn zijn terug te vinden.

Tim Schafer, oprichter van Double Fine, is wederom de host van de shot en Amy Hennig, Naughty Dog-director, neemt dit jaar de Lifetime Achievement Award in ontvangst. De Game Developers Choice Awards vinden op 20 maart plaatst op de GDC 2019 in San Francisco.
