Report: Houston Outlaws expected to sign Nero

The Guangzhou Charge star turned free agent seems to be heading to Texas.

It has been reported by Overwatch League insider, Arran "Halo" Brown that the Houston Outlaws are expected to sign former Guangzhou Charge DPS star, Charlie "Nero" Zwarg.

Nero who has played for Guangzhou since late November 2018 has seen varied success on the roster. From finishing outside the top eight in the 2019 regular season, to winning the Summer Showdown event in the APAC region, ever since he first set foot on the OWL stage, Nero has made an impact for the Charge's team.

The report by Halo also states that Nero had made an agreement with Charge DPS co-star Jung-Woo "Happy" Kim to continue their partnership in the role, mentioning that both would move to the same team for the duration of the 2021 season. No information regarding Happy's contract status, or signing has been revealed as of yet, however, he is still a free agent.

Thanks, Haloofthoughts.
